I am trying to piece together the procedure from various sources (TWM, youtube, various forum posts).
Jr Programmer V2 Update To NewestFor flashing Ace v3 chip: TWM says you can pre-program the ace, so I can program before soldering to motherboard 2) There are 2 switches on the jr programmer, what positions should they be in for ace programming Nand Dumping: 3) I do not have QSB, So Im supposed to cut the ends of one set of cables the one with 3 little connectors 4) Switch positions for dumpingwriting 5) after soldering: attach Power cable to motherboard, but do not power on 360 correct 6) TWM solders the cpureset to a resistor near the Heatsink, does anyone have a close upzoominlabelname r4d4 the side closer to the heatsink My current firmware is 17511 (it asks to update to newest 17526) 7) Should I update to 17526 first, then select 17526 in jrunner Other Questions 8) TWM has a remote to powerup to test xell boot, what is the best way without remote 1 comment share save hide report 100 Upvoted This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast Sort by best level 1 2 points 1 year ago I just did 2 Trinity Ace installs this weekend so hopefully I can help.![]() First of all, this video by TWM goes over everything very well: Yes, you can, and should, program your ace before soldering it to the motherboard. The switch on the top should be switched to the left (JP-3) when reading and writing the nand, and should be to the right (JTAF-XSVF) when programming your ace chip. Here is a video that explains the switched very well: I assume you are referring to the cables that came with your JR Programmer in that case, you should cut the ends of the wires with 7 cables. See 2 Correct. Once your JR Programmer is soldered, connect the console to power but do NOT power on. Then connect the JR Programmer to your PC via USB to read and write your nand. ![]() Be careful when doing this one, and dont pull the connection too hard once you solder it. ![]() Exactly. Update first, and then pick 17526 in JRunner. Just connect the power button board to the motherboard, then connect the faceplate to it with the ribbon.
